seashore earwig

This is a common seashore earwig which resides as you guessed on or near the sea shore under logs and seaweed were it feeds on decomposing waste e.g. rotting fish, kelp, and dead insects. I have had this bunch for quite a while as I guess that they are long lived. They are happy eating fish pellets as seen in the photo, which is easily purchased at any pet shop. The reason I am posting this is that it is an endemic species so great to study and keep as pets. Any comments and questions appreciated.
